Our nightly room rates are based on double occupancy (except our suites, 'Stable' and 'Hayloft', which are based on an occupancy of four) and include full breakfast and afternoon tea.

• For stays from Sunday through Thursday nights, rates also include a three course, table d'hôte dinner (with exceptions*).

• For single occupancy, deduct $75.00 per night. For an additional third person, add $75.00 per night. Maximum of three adults per room except for our two suites; 'Stable' and 'Hayloft' that can accommodate up to five adults.

• Rates and packages do not include 9% state tax and 13% service charge.

• Guests staying a minimum of two nights midweek or three nights over the weekend will receive a $50.00 certificate to be applied towards services at Alta Day Spa or a $50.00 credit to be applied towards ski tickets or green fees at Sugarbush Resort (with exceptions).

*Dinner, golf green fees and ski passes are not included during long weekends, public holidays, the month of February and between mid-September to late October. Please inquire for details.

All eleven rooms and suites are individually appointed with antiques, memorabilia as well as original artwork and feature individual air-climate controls, three line telephones with DSL data port and Wi-Fi access, CD music player and concealed television with VHS player. In addition, all private baths have Jacuzzi tubs and radiant floor heating. Some rooms also offer steam showers and the majority have wood burning fireplaces (see room comparison chart).

Resident guests have complimentary access to the following facilities and activities:

•	The Maple Games Room, which features a 'salon' size pool table, table top shuffleboard and dartboard.
•	TREK Hybrid Road Bikes (including helmets).
•	Mad River 'Explorer' Canoe (including paddles, selection of life vests and sponge roof pads with straps that will fit most make and model vehicles).
•	Hoover's Room for secure storage of hiking, biking and ski equipment as well as a boot and glove warmer.
•	Complimentary access to the Sugarbush Health and Racquet Club, less than a ten minute drive from the Inn, which is a fully appointed health and fitness facility and features: Cardio equipment, free-weights and circuit training. Indoor facilities include a pool, Jacuzzi, sauna, and three covered tennis courts, squash court and racquetball court as well as Pro Shop. Outdoor amenities include a lap pool, Jacuzzi, six tennis courts, including four Har-Tru and two hard courts.

Confirmation Policy
A 50% credit card deposit of the total value of your stay (not including tax and service charge) is required at the time of booking.

Cancellation Policy
The Pitcher Inn is a small and intimate hotel. Because of this, cancellations affect us significantly. If you must cancel, please notify us at least one month prior to arrival. That way we will be able to refund your deposit less a $50.00 booking fee. If you cancel between 30 days and the week before your reservation, the half payment becomes non-refundable. If, however, you give us less than seven days' notice, we will have to charge you for the entire stay booked. In either event, we will make every effort to re-book the room and if we are able to do so, all your money will be refunded, minus the $50.00 booking fee. Should it be necessary for you to depart earlier than your confirmed reservation dates, you will be responsible for all of the original room nights booked from your intended stay. We highly recommend travel insurance which includes a loss of deposit policy.

Minimum Stay
There is a minimum stay of two nights on weekends (three nights during holiday weekends and foliage weekends) and five nights over Christmas.

Dining and Afternoon Tea
Meals are special events at The Pitcher Inn and our culinary team takes great pride in using only the finest ingredients to create memorable cuisine.

•	Breakfast and candlelight dinners are enjoyed in the Dining Room and on the verandah, weather permitting.
•	Our Wine Cellar is available for tasting menus or private parties of two to six guests.
•	Tracks, our lounge, is open for cocktails where we also serve a small plate dinner menu.

Dinner reservations for the Dinning Room and the Wine Cellar are required in advance, please advise us upon confirmation of your reservation your preferred time as well as if you have any special dietary restrictions or requests. The Dining Room and Tracks are closed on Tuesday evenings and we would be delighted to assist with local recommendations.

•	For our resident guests, complimentary afternoon tea is served daily from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., either in the Robert Frost Library or in Tracks.
•	Lunch or gourmet picnics are available from our friends across the street at the Warren Store.
•	Room Service is available during kitchen hours. An automatic 20% gratuity will be added.

Arrival and Departure Times
Check-in 3:00 p.m.
Check-out 11:00 a.m.
For check-ins later than 9:00pm special arrangements need to be made through the Front Desk. Like wise for early departures before 8:00 a.m., please notify us accordingly. While we make every attempt to accommodate early arrivals, we cannot guarantee room availability before 3:00 p.m. However, we can store your luggage in the event of early arrival or late departure.

Children
We welcome children aged 16 and over in the Main House. Alternatively our two suites, 'Stable' and 'Hayloft', located in the Red Barn, are able to accommodate children of all ages. Our dining room also welcomes children of all ages but we kindly request that they are seated in the early evening (around 6:00 p.m.). Special children's menus are available with advance notice.

Non-smoking Establishment
The entire Inn is a smoke free environment. Nevertheless, we do permit smoking on our exterior patios and we do have a number of rooms with balconies.

Pets
As much as we love them, our facilities unfortunately do not allow us to welcome them. Nevertheless we would be pleased to assist with arrangements at a local kennel.

Special Celebrations
Many guests have found The Pitcher Inn a wonderful place to celebrate special times with family and friends. If you let us know ahead of time, we will bake something for the occasion or order favorite flowers. There are many opportunities to reserve the entire Inn for a private house party event or reunion, especially in the spring, summer and winter.
